Introduction to Pastor Gwendolyn Credle

 Pastor Gwendolyn Credle is the founder and pastor of The Rock  Church of Sumter in Sumter, South Carolina. Pastor Credle was born  in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Bishopville and Sumter, South  Carolina. She graduated from Sumter High School in May1979. In  May 1998 She accepted her call into the ministry under the guidance  of Pastor Carletta Moore, Harvest Outreach Ministry, in Dover,  Delaware. She furthered her training in ministry under the guidance  of Superintendent Thomas N. Bristow, Maranatha Church of God In  Christ, Mackenbach, Germany. There she served in several ministerial  position, culminating as the Praise and Worship President, Choir  President, Youth Department vice-president, Women's department vice- president in addition to being the District Youth department  President. As well as serving on the usher board and hospitality committee. She was also an honor graduate from the Germany  Jurisdiction Ministerial Auxiliary Leadership Training. Commissioned in 2008 by the Holy Spirit, her Bishop Anne Gimenez and her pastors, Drs. Gregg and Velinda Simmons, Gwen was ordained and sent out from the Rock Ministerial Fellowship of Virginia Beach, VA to  establish The Rock Church of Sumter. The Church's mission is, "Repairers of the Breach", Bridging the Gap,  restoring the hearts of men back unto God, one soul at a time from the inside out. Her life is dedicated to living by example and encouraging men and women in how to live righteously and to live up to their full potential in Christ. To train and equip the Saints for the work of the ministry and to restore the total and complete person  (Spirit, soul and body) back to Christ.  Pastor Credle received an Associates in Business Management from Central Carolina, Bachelor of Art Degree in Biblical Studies & Theology from the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology, where she graduated Suma  Cum Laude, in June 2004, a Bachelor of Art Degree in Pastoral Ministry, from Morris College, where she  graduated Cum Laude in May 2020, Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling, from Regent University in  December 2022. Pastor Gwendolyn Credle is married to Minister Arnell Credle Jr. for 39 years. They have two daughters, Desiree and Juanita and one granddaughter Aleiyah.
